A tale of the LYM, hard at work trying to make a sale. They sang, with little effect. Perhaps next time they'll bring along Beltran to lead them in a dramatic performance to make their point. They weren't that far from his part of the state.

It's Official

The LarouchePAC is running out of dollars. Between the IRS assault on their funds to pay PMR's tax debt (could only happen if the LPAC was a receivable to PMR) and the reduction in income at the card table shrines, the organization is on the ropes financially. If you doubt me, there is this post at FACTNet stating there is a disconnect between LAR's efforts and the income coming in, followed by this gem. Both posts are quoting AM briefings and the second states quite plainly:

It is time to end the insanity of the persistent downward trend in LPAC income at the very moment that Lyn's political impact is on an upward trend, as never before.

What upward trend in political impact? Didn't Avi Klein clearly show there was no impact? Oh wait, I forgot. Any small move off the cellar floor is an upward trend. In any case, the money is drying up, and apparently the org is reconsidering printed pamphlets. Wonder who'll they will get to pay for that since PMR isn't around to do it for free? Is Beltran around to help? Or did he finally bail out?

Falling to Pieces

The Avi Klein article, Chip Berlet interview with Molly, Dennis King writeup, the latest from Scott McLemee and a string of comments from Molly Kronberg at American Prospect, has got the Larouchies foaming. They sure aren't happy with the way things are going right now.

The End Has Not Come

Once again Larouche's prediction of collapse, discussed here and originating here has come to naught. I expect the bread baskets will be arriving in Leesburg shortly.

Over at FACTNet I found this post in which a Larouche insider claims that at High Noon on 10/11/07 the dollar will fall to zero, a goose egg, totally worthless. Oh the horror!! The humanity!!

I ain't buying it.

I saw a card table shrine across from the Jewel on State St. (The Grand Plaza building). They have cornered the paper, and probably copy center, market judging by the amount of stuff that was piled high on the table. I literally had my hands full or I might have considered talking to them if only to needle them about the Duggan Affair.

Paying Himself

Today, while trolling the web, I found this lovely piece by the Federal Election Commission (FEC). On page 7 it refers to a finding in 2006 by the U.S. Court of Appeals in a court case involving Lyndon Larouche's Committee for a New Bretton Woods and the 2000 Presidential campaign. According to the report:

The LaRouche committee received $1,448,389 in federal matching funds. The majority of these funds were paid to seven vendors that provided fundraising and advertising services for the past three nominations that LaRouche had sought; LaRouche was the vendors’ sole client. The committee received $222,034 in public funds in connection with “mark-up charges” paid to these vendors.

The FEC told the Committee it had to pay back the money. Wonder if they did given who the vendors are:

The seven vendors were American System Publications, Inc.,
Eastern States Distributors, Inc., EIR News Services, Inc., Hamilton Systems Distributors, Inc., Mid-West Circulation Corp., Southeast Literature Sales, Inc., and Southwest Literature Distributors, Inc.

Content or No Content

Visiting ex-Larouchies might like to take another look at Odd Man Out, specifically the comments. Someone is trying to engage me in a debate or dialogue about LHL. Look familiar to anyone?

I personally would have a real issue with any Congressman or Senator backing Larouche, whether behind the scenes or upfront. Larouche's lunacy speaks for itself. The fact that HQ named me along with King is so absurd. I don't know what sort of visitor stats this blog is collecting, but I do know it's not being quoted anywhere aside from Skull and Bones. Hardly makes me a significant player, but the fact that I have now become a target of their paranoia ought to be a wakeup call to folks who do read this. Something my Anonymous commenter prefers to avoid discussing.

The Company We Keep

I am told that;

You have joined the ranks of the CIA, KGB, Cuban Frogmen, Henry Kissinger, Nelson Rockefellar, Bush, Cheney, various Jewish named investment bankers, and on and on in terms of who the Internal Daily Briefing posits as ready to destroy Lyndon Larouche.

But the other way of looking at it is that we, as part of the conspiracy somehow or other, are successfully accomplishing that which the CIA, KGB, and Cuban Frogmen were never accomplish.

Who knew?! Thanks. And there is more in the comments section of this post. I particularly like the part where a senior member has hired an attorney. What's s/he worried about?

I'm a what?

This is so absurd. It seems that the boys and girls at Leesburg have taken notice of this blog. Over at FACTNet the Larouche thread now includes a copy of an internal memo that cautions the membership about a variety of folks, including.....Drum rrrroooollllll.....MOI!

Allegedly I am a Star Trek groupie and Robert Beltran stalker, who has joined the ranks of Dennis King, John Train, and unknown others who are exploiting the death of Ken Kronberg.

Well! Who knew I wielded so much influence! I should walk up to the next card table shrine I see and introduce myself. Unfortunately, the LYMers have deserted the Foggy Bottom Metro for now. maybe they'll move over to Metro Center - hint, hint. I'll even give them my autograph for free!

Seriously, I'll cop a plea of nolo contendre to the Star Trek groupie charge. I take exception to being portrayed as a stalker. I point out to all you terribly cerebral loyalists out there that I don't live in California, I don't hang out everywhere that Beltran is at, I don't write him unless his Gatekeeper acts like an ass (all of 2-3X in the past 5 years), I don't call him on the phone, and I certainly don't send him love notes, gifts or offers of employment. Re-read the foregoing to make sure you understand and comprehend it accordingly.

I do question Beltran's affiliation with an organization that has a history of bad acts and exists solely to minister to the personal cult, and needs, of Larouche, a convicted fraudster. Those are facts, not my imagination at work. The death of Ken Kronberg is just one more example of the cost that accrues to Larouchies who are deemed no longer acceptable. The referenced memo bashes PMR and claims that the company failed on its own. The writers conveniently ignore the AM Briefing document, obtained by King, that clearly indicates how Kronberg was viewed. There are still standing claims that the LarouchePAC owed PMR money at the time of Kronberg's death and apparently the financial manipulations don't end there. Seems to me the loyalists are getting good and worried about their ability to continue business as usual.

Beltran is supposed to be a smart man. We'll see how smart he is as the house of cards that is the LarouchePAC and the LYM dissolve into oblivion. Beats a visit from the same division that put away Al Capone. Capiche?

ETA: I have a pic of myself with Beltran from the set visit in 2000. Wonder what the LYMers would pay for a signed copy? All they would need is Beltran's signature and voila! Ebay here they come! They might actually make quota!

I can't wait to see Avi Klein's article about the latest in Leesburg.

You Add One: You Lose One

Carl Osgood's blog is among the missing, but now good ol' Howie G joins the ranks of Larouche friends. Howie has 3 blogs, I just happened to pick this one to link to, but I'll be making an adjustment to the link later.

Poor Howie, he just had to stoop the gutter, in true Larouche fashion. Just one of the guys I guess.

Wanna bet Beltran a) doesn't know and/or b) doesn't care? Must be nice to have so much money you can perform in low budget Grade B/C films, wander the landscape selling your autograph at conventions, and spend the rest of your time composing music, while supporting a cult leader of very dubious integrity and character. Especially when same cult leader has made it clear he has no use for Beltran's generation. Wonder how much money Beltran is forking over in order to stay in Larouche's good graces?

Larouche to endorse Clinton?

Over in Naperville there is card table shrine set up to impeach Cheney. What they really want: Hillary coming out in favor of impeachment, specifically House Resolution 333. If she does that we are told:

"Our movement has created a national constituency by which she would be elected president, if she were to support the bill,"

I never have to make this stuff up. It just pops up like mushrooms. If Hillary supports the resolution, and then gets elected, wanna bet LHL will be expecting an invite to sleep in Lincoln's bedroom?

Equal Time

Of course you knew LHL would react, and he has to The New Republic article I commented on. Poor Conor, the guy can't win, not that he's in any competition. I grumble that the article is basically a puff piece but that pales to what LHL has to say in a single paragraph.

What hypocrisy! He gives the guy an interview and then turns around and disses him. Let me guess: Conor told him it was for an article but didn't say who would publish it? Or maybe LHL's cronies set him up so he could come out blasting. Or, even better, LHL was fully informed, gave the interview and then waited for his opportunity to be offended and insulted. However you paint it, it's standard LHL b---s---. This piece is absolute vintage stuff:

Considering the Guardian's track-record in the Cheney-Blair gang's Jeremy Duggan hoax, one might estimate from his own recent scribblings, that poor wretched Conor's personal morals are even lower than his minuscule IQ.

I think LHL needs to take the IQ test, along with some other tests, just to make sure he is all there. The ghost of Jeremiah Duggan haunts him. Good!

Larouche Lunacy

Over at FACTNet the June 30, 2997 AM briefing has been posted. Larouche isn't done ranting about the boomers and Kronberg, although he hides behind the now defunct PMR business.

Consider the title of the briefing while you are at it. This went out to all the chapters or whatever they are called.

The Tax Man Cometh

From deep in the shadows, whispers come forth that the LHL's PAC is being pursued for the funds they never paid the, now defunct, printing operation for various campaign documents. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The print operation was alleged to have ignored their tax bill, and apparently the money hunt has led the government straight to LHL's various organizations. Seems they may not have clean hands. This could get very interesting. No wonder the PAC site has been screaming shrilly. They are working hard at deflecting the attention. Whatever will they do if they are busted?

Robert Beltran of Star Trek: Voyager fame has been working with Larouche since 2001. The past few years he has been running drama workshops. I have another journal, and I said some time ago he should get out while the getting was good. No chance of that now. If the government seizes the books, and his name is listed as a current payee they'll be checking him out too. Wonder if he'll do any more drama workshops if he isn't paid?
